Gather Around a Town-wide Thanksgiving Table
Thanksgiving is a time to gather and celebrate, giving thanks for what we have and sharing what is ours with one another. In Walpole, we have much to be thankful for; and so, for the first time since 2019, we will hold a town-wide Thanksgiving event to gather, pray, sing, and share a meal together in celebration and gratitude.

You are invited to United Church in Walpole (30 Common Street) for a potluck dinner and interfaith prayer service on Tuesday November 26th. All who are able are invited to bring a family recipe or traditional Thanksgiving dish to share. Dinner will be served from 5:30-7 in the Fellowship Hall. An interfaith prayer service will follow in the Sanctuary at 7 pm led by representatives of different churches and faith traditions in Walpole. Anyone who would like to sing in a "pop-up choir" will rehearse a single song at 6:30 and then perform during the service. RSVP's are encouraged but not required; this is a free event where all are welcome.

We will also be collecting donations of non-perishable food items for the Walpole Food Pantry. A free-will offering will also be collected to cover the cost of the event, with additional proceeds going to support the Walpole Food Pantry.

For more information, press inquiries, or other questions about the event, please contact Rev. Dr. Aaron Shepherd, pastor of Union Congregational Church in East Walpole.
